The Slayer is TBH's melee powerhouse — a high-risk, high-reward DPS class that thrives in the thick of combat. Axe Spin applies bleed to everything around it. Crushing Blow delivers devastating single-target burst. Commander's Cry buffs the entire party's attack. What makes the Slayer unique is its self-sustain: HP Per Kill and HP Leech passives mean the Slayer heals itself through combat, requiring less Priest attention than squishier DPS classes. In mob-dense stages with lots of enemies, the Slayer out-damages every other class in the game. The tradeoff: melee range means the Slayer takes more hits, and the 180% Crit Damage base demands crit chance stacking to unlock its full potential.

What It Does
Axe Spin
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
The Slayer's signature skill. Spins with the axe, hitting all nearby enemies and applying bleed. Max this first. In dense mob packs, this skill alone can out-damage the rest of your party combined.
Crushing Blow
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Massive single-target damage. Use after Axe Spin has applied bleed to everything. The burst damage against bosses is unmatched among melee classes.
Commander's Cry
⭐⭐⭐⭐
Party-wide attack buff. Stacks with Priest's Blessing of Might for enormous team damage. One to three points — the base effect is already strong.
Bloodlust
⭐⭐⭐
Self-buff that increases damage and lifesteal. Excellent for sustained boss fights where the Slayer needs to tank while dealing damage. Max after Axe Spin and Crushing Blow.
Ground Slam
⭐⭐
AoE physical damage in a cone. Decent secondary AoE. Overlaps with Axe Spin's role — one point for utility.
Slam Jump
⭐
Gap-closer with minor AoE. Utility skill. One point is enough.

Why
1
Physical Damage %
8
Boosts all physical damage — Axe Spin, Crushing Blow, bleed ticks, and basic attacks. The Slayer's most efficient damage multiplier.
2
Area of Effect
8
Increases Axe Spin's radius, hitting more enemies. More enemies hit = more bleed stacks = more total damage. Directly scales the Slayer's AoE identity.
3
Max HP
8
Survivability in melee range. The Slayer takes hits that ranged classes never see. Higher HP pool means more room for HP Leech to work.
4
HP per Kill
10
+30 HP per kill at max level. Excellent sustain against dense mob waves. Every enemy killed by Axe Spin heals the Slayer.
5
HP Leech
8
Percentage of damage dealt is returned as HP. Scales with your damage output — the harder you hit, the more you heal.
6
Attack Damage
8
Flat damage increase. Good after all other passives are established.

Best Party Combinations for Slayer
Knight + Priest + Slayer — Knight tanks, Priest heals/buffs, Slayer wrecks everything in melee. The safest Slayer comp.
Knight + Slayer + Hunter — No healer. Knight tanks, Slayer and Hunter compete for top DPS. High risk — only with well-geared Knight and strong Slayer sustain.
Slayer + Priest + Ranger — Slayer off-tanks. Works on Normal/Nightmare where Slayer's HP sustain is sufficient. Not recommended for Hell+.
Core Slayer principle: The Slayer's sustain (HP Per Kill + HP Leech) is what separates it from other DPS classes. Stack these stats aggressively — a Slayer that heals itself through combat deals more total damage than one that dies and needs a rez.
